Dear Family and Friends

On October 17, 2010 I along with 11 other men will set off on a cycling trip just over 1,000km from Sydney to Melbourne in just under a week. Our ages range from 30 to 60 years old and most of us took up cycling at the beginning of the year especially to do this ride.

What makes a bunch of ordinary men decide to ride a bicycle 150km per day on average for 7 days? The answer is 2 charities close to their hearts... OCF and CAP.

Every year 700 children are diagnosed with cancer, 200 of whom will die. Sebastian, one of our rider’s, daughters was one of these children. In order to raise funds for the vital research work, us 12 ordinary men will be riding to help OCF in their race to find a cure.

Every week families lose their homes, their cars and often their marriages, because of the debt trap. CAP is a non-profit organisation that steps into the gap, not only to help these people meet their financial obligations, but also rebuild their lives to live a prosperous future. Kenny, another of our riders, is CAP Chairman and sees first hand the damaging effects of debt and the empowering freedom that Cap brings.

How you can help?
Support me and these other men by leaving words of encouragement and/or donating to our cause here on our website

Donations over $2 are tax deductible and tax receipts are issued.

Love and appreciation.
